クレオ／ゼナム／ヨナの３姉妹から成るクレオパトラ。98年のデビュー・アルバム『クレオパトラ』では、ティーン特有のピチピチした魅力を余すところなく発揮した。その顕著たるナンバーがジャクソン・ファイヴのカヴァー「アイ・ウォント・ユー・バック（帰ってほしいの）」だろう。原曲のイメージを忠実に再現した瑞々しいサウンドに、"きゃわゆい"ヴォイスがバッチリはまった、バブルガム・ポップ・チューンに仕上げている。
続く00年の２nd『ステッピン・アウト』では、そのヴォーカル・ワークは大人びた印象に。しかし、女性の色香は皆無であり、純な雰囲気を残している感じだ。また、サウンド面ではR&B色が強まり、ミーハーなムードは薄まっている。
